Alder House Cat Hotel

Stephen and Sharon Tomlinson are proud to offer first class accommodation and care for your much loved cats. Our cattery is situated at our home, close to our house for maximum security and overlooks the large secluded and peaceful gardens. It is the perfect place for your cats to relax and enjoy their holiday. We very much welcome viewings as we are extremely proud of our cattery and the standard of care we offer. Please feel free to call in our opening hours or make an appointment if these times are not convenient. As pet owners ourselves we fully understand that the thought of leaving your cats in someone else’s care whilst you go on holiday can be upsetting so please do discuss any concerns you may have with us.

Accomodation

Our spacious pens are constructed from white UPVC with double glazing and the floors tiled to ensure cleanliness at all times. They are designed to be a home from home and you are welcome to fill them with your cats favourite things to make them feel even more at home. We provide large scratch posts and toys as well to entertain our guests.All of our pens have a spacious, heated, indoor room for your cats to relax in and a secure outdoor exercise area. The outdoor area is accessed via a cat flap so that your cat can have access to fresh air whenever he chooses. Warming mats are placed in the cats beds in the cooler months for added warmth and comfort.

Care

We see each of our guest as an individual and treat them accordingly giving them all periods of play and affection every day. We guarantee your cats will have a relaxing time and you will return to find them happy and content.So that our guests get the most from their stay with us please feel free to tell us all about their likes and dislikes and routine on arrival so we can treat them just like at home.

BOARDING CHARGES

1st Cat £9 per day
2nd,3rd and 4th cat sharing a pen £5.00 per day each.
Discounts may be available for stays of over 20 days

CAT GROOMING

Sharon is a cat groomer. If you wish to have your cat professionally groomed during its stay please ask for an estimate on arrival. Nail clipping is usually done free of charge and full grooms at a discounted price of between £15 and £25.

Terms & Conditions

Cats must be fully vaccinated against cat flu and enteritis and their annual boosters up to date. You will be asked to provide evidence in the form of a vaccination card before your cat can be admitted. We do provide a selection of adult cat food at no extra charge however, if your cat is on a special diet or kitten food you will need to provide this. If you prefer to supply your own food we are happy to feed your cat on this and you are welcome to bring treats and/or milk if you wish. We are happy to administer medication if required, including insulin injections for diabetic cats.We do not insist on a deposit but we do ask that you give us at least 7 days notice if you need to cancel so that we can refill the pen.
